With constant pursuit of higher performance and quality of electronic products.Nowadays SMT has become one of the most popular a kind of technology and process on the electronic board-level-assembly industry, and pick-and-place placement is the most critical and most complex equipment on the SMT line. In view of the current domestic small pick-and-place equipment lack of vision system, pick-and-place precision deficiency and high cost, this paper does the integrated system design, the mechanical design, the vision system and PC controlling pick-and-place software, made the pick-and-place prototype.(1) This paper studies on high-precision desktop pick-and-place machine with Vision System for electronic products of small batch production enterprises, scientific research institutions, educational institutions and personal electronic manufacture.(2) According to the design goal of the machine,it chooses the direction of the design,does the design of the architecture of the overall pick-and-place system, and researches the mechanical design, the vision system and PC controlling pick-and-place software(3) The paper lists groups of placement machine hardware design scheme, for the design of the high-precision desktop machine selects a suitable design, has completed the overall design of machine in pick-and-place system, XY motion system, feeding system transportation and clip to PCB mechanism and the frame structure. After analysis, design,selection and process, it has made the prototype of the high-precision desktop pick-and-place machine with Vision.(4) Completing the vision system test platform, and researching the vision system image processing, the paper completes the acquisition of the IC chip image processing and obtains the position and attitude adjustment information.(5) Researching on pick-and-place process and using C#, the dissertation developed PC controlling pick-and-place software for automated SMT list process.
