With the development of information technology education, many domestic universities have established a campus card system, there are many researches about the design and implementation of university campus card project. The existing researches mainly discuss the campus card promoting the construction of digital campus, information, network and security problems of campus smart card, function on university financial management. But there are few theoretical researches of the campus smart card system management mode.The object of this study is S University campus card system, S University has adopted a financing mode of ‘Chinese bank + school’ to support S University card system construction.Project management of S University campus card system is mainly divided into prophase research, project initiation, bidding, project implementation, system calibration experiment,project preliminary approval, system operation, the expanded function perfect. S University campus card system has been relatively mature. S University campus card system management has build ‘S University management mode’ which consists of full-time campus card system management office, university internal coordination mechanism and the organizations out of campus.Through interviews, questionnaires and other methods, this study analyzes the management mode of S campus card system, problems are: the lag of digital campus construction, the lack of the smart card system leading stagnation, unsmooth operation of management mode and the lack of investment.According to the survey, this study proposes the optimization strategy and management model of S university campus card system. The main strategies include: optimization of information management environment, the rational allocation of organization function, good scientific planning, striving for more financial support to schools, and strengthening the construction of campus network.Through the analysis and promotion countermeasure research management mode on the S university campus card, the campus card system will run more smoothly.
