Based On The Agent's Work Flow Design

Workflow technology is the hard-core technology of implementation of business process automation. For great efficiency and speed in businesses, the target of Workflow Management Systems is implementing business process with great efficiency and speed by management of resources associated with the business process. However,there are problems in most existing workflow Management systems,for example,lacking soft,interoperability is not high,lacking dynamics of throughput and does not support distributed applications, which greatly restricts the development and application of workflow technology. Agent technology is a hot research area of the current computer applications, which provide a new calculation method to solve complex, dynamic, distributed smart applications. Agent can manage and implement complex business processes in a similar manner to workflow in dynamic different domains and can construct workflow system of complex structure, flexible, soft, easy expansion and dynamic throughput.Firstly the related concepts of workflow technology and the workflow management system architecture are introduced and its features and implementation process are analyzed. And then the fundamental characteristics of Agent are introduced as well as Agent-based software design is discussed. The Agent-based workflow management architecture and its business process system are describe and Further the Agent-based workflow management model is brought forward. Based on the discussion of business domain of virtual enterprise, the design of operation mechanism of Agent-based virtual enterprise workflow are mainly talked. Purchase business process Business process management Agents are designed in logistics virtual enterprise system with the intelligent Agents as the basic unit . The cooperation which is caused by the response of the virtual enterprise to the customer's request was described by picturing collaborative mechanism between Agents of different domains using the response sequence chart.As Agent platform, the basic characteristics of JADE are analyzed and the merchandise business process is designed based on JADE, that is, complete implementation of the purchase processes, through the design of the various sub-Workflow Agents. The mechanisms of service registration and use was analyzed and focusing on sub-workflow such as the purchase and transportation of merchandise, based on collaboration model, describing the service mechanisms used by Agent.
