With the rapid development of computer and network technology, information technology and the development of modern society are getting closer gradually. As an important means of information management, establishing management information systems (MIS) have been paid attention for organization in the society. Various government agencies and enterprises have invested a lot of money for the construction of management information systems in their department, which is an important means to reduce operational management costs and improve the efficiency of the administration office.Integrated Management Information System described in this article is established for the given business needs of a large equipment manufacturing enterprise. It mainly solves the following existing problems. First, the existing information system only has a simple Home Webpage and e-mail functions, cannot support the enterprise daily office needs. Second, the daily management of basic departments such as production department, warehouse is still in the manual processing phase, and cannot achieve information-based and scientific management. Third, the information share channel between basic departments and agencies is closed, which leads to the supervision and inspection cannot be implemented, rules and regulations cannot be landing.Traditional management information systems typically employ JSP, Java Servlet, EJB development model combining. The view layer, business layer, and data layer of this development model is not effective separated. There are still some shortage such as coupling software modules, code maintenance difficulty, and limited software scalability. Through the study of this SSH (Struts, Spring, Hibernate) framework, the project uses SSH framework to divide the software into more layers including data access layer, business logic layer, control layer and the presentation layer, which achieves layered software design based on MVC design pattern, as well as improves software reusability and expansibility.In addition, for the need of basic department’s offline business processing and mobile office, this system designs an intelligent terminal based on the Android platform. This terminal enables grassroots user can still be carried out off-line business processing when the network is disconnected, and automatic data synchronization after the network is connected. Moreover, it supports mobile office for some departments if the wireless network is available in their environment, which improves the daily management efficiency for the enterprise.
