Under the background of Large-scale manufacturing model, reducing and estimating the cost of product or machined part, accurately and timely responding to customer inquiry request are concerns of most enterprises. Therefore, studying the method to estimate the cost of mechanical parts in this paper.First of all, introducing the research status of cost estimation in machinery manufacturing industry both at home and abroad, analyzing the merits and demerits of various cost estimation methods, pointing out the insufficient of present cost estimation methods. Based on the different problems on cost estimation during the production, it is proposed the method of cost estimation that based on similarity calculation of hybrid type feature and the method of dynamic cost estimation and optimization based on manufacturing cost method.Second, in order to meet the different needs of customers, contraposing some parts are improved based on existing parts, in order to estimate the cost of parts quickly, using the principle of cost estimation based on similarity in this paper, contraposing the diversity of types for the description of part, the model to measure the similarity based on hybrid type features is proposed, solving the problem on similarity calculation of a sample both has deterministic features and fuzzy features, realize the similarity calculating of character and sample, implements the properties of the sample similarity and similarity calculation, In view of the important degree of different samples of various characteristics is different, studying the shortage of method for measuring the subjective weight and objective weight, the method for measuring the integrated weight is proposed; in the end, Finally, on the basis of the above methods to simulate cost by using the exponential smoothing method, realize the goal of estimating the cost of the objective part.Again,dividing the cost of mechanical parts into different part based on the principle of manufacturing cost method, in the face of the dynamic change of market demand, in the restrict resource constraints, under limited resource on manufacturing restrictions, under different production plan scheme the each several part of the cost of a mechanical part is different, therefore the method of dynamic cost estimation and optimization is established, considering elements that affect the cost of part such as normal production, work overtime, inventory, personnel changes and so on, as well as capacity restriction such as equipment, personnel and inventory capacity and so on, getting the optimization optimal production planning solution by solving, achieving the goal to estimate and optimize the cost of parts.Finally, according to method to estimate the cost of mechanical, the corresponding software system function module is designed, taking VS2010 as development platform, using C# to develop a prototype system about cost estimation of mechanical parts, verifying the feasibility of the method of cost estimation by estimate the cost of gears.
