Driver’s field test mainly examines the basic operation of the driver to the vehicle and the perception ability of the vehicle space position. The test appraises the driving skill of a trainee comprehensively by the means of driving on the field. To study driver’s field test system is of great significance for reducing human factors, improving the accuracy, impartiality of site examination and governing traffic accident from the source.Intelligent drive’s field test system that is applying advanced computer technology, data processing methods to the field test project to judge the driver’s driving skill. The newly provision on the application and use of motor vehicle driving license issued by the Ministry of Pubic Security puts forward more stringent requirements for the driver’s test. At the same time, the provision makes new regulation about content and general technology of the site examination. According to the field test contents and existing standards of the small car, the intelligent vehicle driving skill comprehensive judgment system is proposed in this paper. The system is based on RTK GPS positioning technology and embedded technology. On the basis of analyzing the development status of field test system, this paper firstly presents overall design plan of vehicle judgment system, and designs the hardware circuits. Secondly, this article studies the key judgment algorithms used in the system. Then the software design of the judgment system is given. In order to improve the reliability of the system, the vehicle judgment terminal uses ARM-WinCE architecture. The vehicle signal is collected and processed by SCM, the dynamic information of the car is determined by GPS. All the data transmits through the RS232 serial port to ARM terminal. The key point of the body contour can be got according to the size of the vehicle data and GPS data. The test site is considered as polygons, we utilize the algorithm for point in-out polygon test to determine the relationship between the car and the site. The software design includes development of embedded operating system WinCE6.0, design of the upper interface, data processing software, the intelligent judgment software, slave computer software and so on. This paper takes the test for parking garage project as an example, gives the procedures of intelligent judgment.The hardware of the vehicle judgment system is modularized, so the system is small in size, flexible and easy to operate. The application of embedded operating system makes the application software run stably, and code execution rate is high. The examination interface of is the system is concise and clear. The result shows that the judgment is stable and accurate, and the system has certain practical value.
