With the development of radar technology, the radar is getting more powerful. At the same time, the system debugging becomes more and more difficult. With the help of radar simulation technology, the cycle of radar’s research and development can be shortened, the cost of research can be reduced. So the radar simulation technology is very important on the engineering practice. According to the research needs of a pseudo code CW responder simulator, this paper combined a practical research based on the acquisition and tracking technology, and studied the theory of the radar distance simulation, Doppler frequency simulation, and designed a pseudo code CW responder simulator intermediate frequency signal processor. The main work is as follows:1. This paper studies on the principle of pseudo code CW responder simulator, introducing the theory of distance simulation, Doppler frequency simulation, giving the system architecture diagram.2. This paper designs and realizes intermediate frequency hardware circuit of a pseudo CW responder simulator,the test results verify the correctness of the design.3. This paper designs a signal processing circuit based on the FPGA and DSP, cooperate with hardware circuit, realizes the functions of distance simulation and Doppler frequency simulation. The test results verify the correctness of the design.
