With the development of Internet, Communication Networks, GIS and Positioning Technologies, the Indoor Location-Based Services(LBS) has attracted increasing attention from all walks of life, and its prospects are very broad. Development of a low-cost, easy to expand, rapidly deployable indoor LBS system, has become the focus of the problem in the current position services. For indoor location service system, indoor positioning signal source and location algorithm are the two most important factors affecting system performance. In order to obtain a more accurate information for positioning target, the positioning signal source must be reasonably deployed and the matching location algorithm be selected, so that the services provided by the location can be meaningful and valuable. In this paper, the methods for how to reasonably deploy the indoor positioning signal source and optimize the positioning algorithm are discussed, as follows:(1) In depth understanding of the knowledge and key technologies about indoor LBS, and clear the importance of indoor positioning signal source reasonable deployment based on the background, current situation and significance this paper mentioned.(2) To construct the model of indoor maps and road network, and design the model of multi-scene indoor positioning signal source deployment based on these two models. Also, to implement the entire process range from the production of indoor map and road network data to the signal source deployment.(3) To propose a hot optimization algorithm based on interior space relationship, and use it to solve the conflict of positioning results not in the same region of space when the methods of location fingerprint and proximity are combined, make up for the shortcomings of traditional hot location algorithm, achieve a coarse-grained positioning throughout the indoor areas and a precise positioning in the hotspots.(4) To design and implement an indoor LBS system using ZigBee based on the key technologies discussed in this paper, which can be run on Android and Web based platform stably. Also, to demonstrate the application value in the management of exhibits and visitor locations by running the system.
