In recent years, due to the continuous improvement of the level of science and technology, digital image processing technology has also been a rapid development.In the field of industrial production, the use of image processing technology to reduce the labor cost, production automation has been widely concerned.In the textile industry, the quality of the fabric is the main concern, and automatic detection technology plays an important role in the control of fabric quality.The detection rate of the defects in the fabric is low,which is easy to be affected by the subjective factors in the process of testing.The application of image processing technology in the process of textile production can not only reduce the labor cost, but also can improve the production efficiency.Fabric defect detection in the textile production process is a very important step, if the effective detection of fabric defects, will make the textile quality is improved, production cost reduced.In this paper, the design of the fabric defect automatic detection system is mainly composed of three parts:automatic focusing of image acquisition, image stitching after acquisition and detection of defects in fabric.On the basis of analyzing the types and characteristics of common fabric defects,put forward three kinds of fabric defect detection algorithm is used to detect the fabric defects.The main work done as follows:(1) Image focusing.Choose the focus of the image and the size of the focus of the image to determine the clarity of the image, making the image accurately focused. The quality of the image has a great influence on the detection of the system.(2) Image mosaic.Fabric image is obtained by a set of cameras, number of sheets have partially overlapping images with image stitching technology to spatial registration, fused into a picture contains the image information of large field of view images.Image registration is the core of image mosaic technology, SIFT image registration method is a typical image registration method based on the feature points, this paper focuses on the SIFT image registration algorithm.(3)Defect detection.Fabric defect detection algorithm is the key content of the research,this paper mainly adopts three kinds of defects on the cloth detection algorithm,gabor, gray level co-occurrence matrix and Fu Liye transform,common cloth defects in the industrial production can be detected.(4)Display results.At last, the MATLAB2008 a user interface was written by GUI.The detected defect results are displayed through the GUI interface.This design realizes the detection of five kinds of fabric defects,the system’s detection speed is fast, real-time is good, has the portability.
