Intelligent Terminal swept the world, the phone feature has been transformed from the relatively simple voice calls to the entertainment, sociality, video-on-demand/surveillance, high-speed Internet access and other comprehensive integrated functions. Mobile operator’s communications network requires the ability to support these new high-bandwidth services and more mobile broadband users, truly wireless broadband. Thus, the introduction of LTE has become a urgent priority of the global mainstream operators.As the unified standard of next generation mobile communication, LTE has a variety of advantages of high spectral efficiency, high peak rate, mobility and flat network architecture,and so on. But at the same time, LTE also put forward higher requirements for backhaul network on high bandwidth, low latency, multipoint flexible networking, massive base access capability. Packet Transport Network can provide an high efficient multi-service bearer, powerful business protection and OAM capabilities, to meet the needs of LTE on high-bandwidth, low-latency, high-density base station access, in addition, it can also provide precise frequency and time synchronization for TD-LTE system. Therefore, PTN has become the main solution for LTE mobile backhaul bearer.The primary coverage of this paper was as follows:Firstly, the situation about the research significance of the topic and domestic and foreign research status. Secondly, for the current needs of LTE mobile backhaul network, analysis and comparison on several possible LTE mobile backhaul bearer solutions. Thirdly, Combined with the deployment of the existing Guangdong Mobile Communication Network, disign of a LTE mobile backhaul bearer solution based on PTN. Combined with the deployment of the existing Mobile Communication Network, disign of a LTE mobile backhaul bearer solution based on PTN, including static L2 and L3VPN solution, bearing protection solution, testing and analysis of the existing Guangdong Mobile Communication Network. Finally the experience and attainment during the implementation of this project was summarized. |
