Autostereoscopic display technology is differert from the common stereoscopic display technology. Users can remove the bondage of auxiliary equipment such as glasses while watching. Autostereoscopic display technology has large range of observation and is an important research object of the current stereoscopic display technology. Autostereoscopic displayer separate the left and right eye views by using the special optical element.Two views together can achieve 3D Effects,by the way of one to the observer’s left eye and a second image to the right eye.Autostereoscopic display techniques currently in development stage, and mainly used in the commercial market and entertainment industry, so it is not used on a larger scale. From a technical point of view, free stereoscopic display can be divided into light barrier technology, cylindrical lens technology and point light source technology etc. Autostereoscopic display’ biggest advantage is to get rid of the shackles of glasses, but there are many deficiencies in the resolution, visual angle and visual distance etc. This paper introduced the stereoscopic display technology and the advantages and disadvantages of various types of stereoscopic display technology in existence and the basic principle of stereo display. And it also introduced several autostereoscopic display technology and its implementation.This research mainly focused on the mobile terminal autostereoscopic display which have been widely sold in the market. And it combined with human specific reaction in autostereoscopic display and human-computer interaction theory to analysis the human status in autostereoscopic display and find out the different influence because of the observer’s different conditions on the depth perception when they watching stereo pictures.For stereoscopic display, the most important evaluation index is the accuracy of depth perception and the comfort of the depth perception. This paper plans to evaluate the stereoscopic display effect from the accuracy of depth perception and the comfort before and after eye watching. The accuracy of depth perception is evaluated depending on the relative error and the comfort of depth perception is evaluated depending on the chance of eye fatigue before and after the experiment. The human factors involved in the test includes age, eye distance, visual acuity, viewing experience.ect. Finally identify the influence trend of these factors on the depth perception through the experiment and date processing.
