With the rapid development of information science technology, especially the development of Internet of Things, the objects in people’s daily life is becoming the carrier of information. It becomes a hot topic on how to manage and monitor materials in IoT field. Compared with the traditional bar code and QR code, the Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) has the advantages of small size, non-touching, anti-fouling and batch reading, and having good application prospect in manufacture, industry, retailing, stock farming. Because of the complexity of the location environment, the RFID application in the field of indoor positioning is full of difficulties and challenges. Yet there is no application oriented positioning system put forward.By focusing on the status quo of RFID indoor localization and the key technology of RFID handheld device system development, this thesis put forward two RFID indoor localization algorithm, and designed a RFID localization handheld system. The main research achievements of this thesis including:Two kinds of RFID indoor localization algorithm based on PDOA was put forward, after the study of IQ demodulation phase measurement. The first one is FD-PDOA based. Detailed formula on steps were given. The least square method and Kalman Filter were used to eliminate error. The other is SD-PDOA based holographic algorithm. The generation of holographic diagram and positioning method were described in detail.In view of two indoor localization algorithm, the localization environment was established respectively to validate the localization scheme. The components of localization environment as well as experiment procedure was described in detail. The result showed the algorithm of SD-PDOA based holographic scheme has better precision than FD-PDOA one. The factors of error were analyzed and the improved scheme was given.A handheld system supporting RFID indoor localization was designed. Considered the factors of performance, power consumption and development cost, the selection of handheld operation system and processor were given. According to the specific demands, the architecture of RFID handheld was carried out. The implement procedure of handheld system software, which including Compact 7 OS immigration, RFID module USB driver development and Bootloader immigration, were based on the model of SD-PDOA based holographic algorithm. Then, the module architecture of RFID handheld localization application were described. Finally, thesis introduces the application of the RFID localization handheld device with an example of SD-PDOA based holographic algorithm.
