First appeared in the early twentieth century, antenna structure system,whose basic function is to use the target of electromagnetic wave scattering and found the target, and determine the space position of the target. Ground radar antenna is widely used in national defense, military and meteorology etc.. It is very important to study antenna structure and static and dynamic characteristics. Enhancing the overall performance of the radar antenna must be considered the main problems.In the past, the research of the antenna is considered rigid.The influence of the flexibility of the transmission chain system on the natural frequency of the antenna is included in this paper,which is more accurate to describe the dynamic characteristics of the antenna.Firstly,the antenna combination is discussed,and simulation processing methods of the fixed and the movable combination are classified and summarized. 7.3m antenna analogy for three DOF serial robot, 7.3m antenna standard D-H coordinate system is established, kinetic analysis of the 7.3m antenna is done, and its Jacobian matrix parametric form is derived.Secondly, I simplify the 7.3m antenna 3D model and lead it to ANSYS Workbench finite element simulation software.The model is simplified by Boolean operation.I set contaction and joint, meshing and impose boundary conditions. And so make the static analysis of the cabin.Then, the 7.3m antenna modle’s dynamic equations which contain flexible joint characteristic are established by the Lagrangian method, the link’s dynamic equation and the motor’s dynamic equation are obtained separately, the parametric form of the dynamic inertia matrix is also derived. According to the multi-degree of freedom system modal analysis theory, the vibration equation of the robot system which contain the flexible joint is derived. Using ANSYS Workbench simulation software to carry on free modal analysis of 7.3m antenna, it is concluded that the first six natural frequency value of 7.3m antenna, and the theoretical results and the experimental results are compared and analyzed.Finally, I make sensitivity analysis about 7.3m antenna structure system.The influence on the natural frequency of the antenna are analyzed from the chain driving system stiffness, counterweight weight and concrete foundation height respectively. I carry on the simulation analysis of 7.3m antenna and put forward to suggestions to improve the natural frequencies of the antenna.
