Design And Implement Of Intelligent News Review System In The Higher Vocational School

With the growing importance of media and communication and the constantly developed information construction in Higher Vocational School, the traditional news Review System has been unable to meet the current demand because of the outdated technology, its single function and low efficiency. An efficient and intelligent Review System has been essential to meet the current demand of Higher Vocational School.The Intelligent News Review System introduced in this paper can meld with the original News Submission System and the website back-end. It also adopts many new technologies and thus owns many new functions, such as news classification, automatic typesetting, picture processing and content correction. News classification means this system can help pick out important news from numerous articles through keyword matching. Automatic typesetting refers to analyzing paragraph, appellation and Inscribe in articles and then rearranges them to the fit website pages. Automatic picture processing refers to adjusting over-sized pictures, while maintaining original aspect ratio. Content correction includes the correction of date, teachers’ name, administrative and professional title of staff, department and punctuation.Furthermore, a new error correction mode-correcting base on search engine is introduced in this paper. Unlike the traditional way, this mode do not rely on local database but uses search engine to access to massive, fast and continuously updated information online to correct news articles. The procedures of this mode are as follows. The system sends text to the search engine, and then gets the response and analyses it. And then Judge whether the text is right. This technique has never been used in News Review System of the Higher Vocational School.This Intelligent News Review System has successfully been introduced to a Higher Vocational School, helping the editors reviewing news and performing well. The processing time has been shortened from 15 minites to 10 minitues, increasing the efficiency by 50%. The Error Rate has been reduced from 0.3% to 0.2%. This system has achieved its goal, operating well.
