As microelectronics, mems, embedded technology, wireless communication technology, information processing and application of computer network technology increasingly mature and development, researches on robot technology and sensor technology have made remarkable achievement. As two major focuses in the study of contemporary world science and technology, wireless sensor network technology and the multi-robot technology application fields expanding. With the requirement of people is increasing, multi-robot’s intellectualization and automation need to be further improved, and the wireless sensor network is the key technology to realize intellectualization and automation, how to get the wireless sensor network combined with multiple robot system become difficult problem of subject development research. This article will be two hot spots of wireless sensor network and multiple robots system combining, and carries on the comprehensive thorough research.First of all, combine the demand of multi-robot interaction platform based on wireless sensor network, design a whole frame structure including the wireless sensor network, multi-robot system and multi-function control terminal system. At the same time, in order to ensure the effectiveness and real time data in the process of interaction, the communication protocol of data format and instruction format has carried on the strict rules.Secondly, based on two kinds of commonly used wireless sensor network Zigbee and WiFi comparing performance analysis, established the fusion wireless sensor network system of two kinds of networks, and according to the functions required of WiFi network node, gives a design scheme of WiFi network node in detail, including interface design, circuit design, as well as the hardware wiring and so on.Then, in view of the whole interaction platform function demand, the overall framework of the multi-robot system and internal bluetooth communication mechanism have been proposed, and the communication between the robots were studied.Finally, in view of the different needs of users, design the control terminals, based on the Android system, LabVIEW and C/S architecture. Through the multi-function control terminal, the user can at any time to master and control the dynamic information of the whole system.Through the effective communication of each part in the platform to achieve the ultimate goal of subject research, wireless sensor network system provide more environmental awareness information for multiple robot, multi-robot system through the wireless sensor network information perception and complete the related instruction operation, establish a set of integrated wireless sensor network, the information of multi-robot coordination and mutual interaction system.
