Intelligent Transport System as a part of modern urban infrastructure is developing by leaps and bounds, along with the advance of science and technology. Automotive electronic products are becoming more diverse. The platform of commercial information publishing as one of the fast-growing automotive products is more and more popular in recent years. Most of the existing Vehicle Information Publishing Platforms can play video whose function is relatively single and practicality is imperfect.Therefore, the platform linked with voice stops devices was designed including Vehicle Information Terminal and Background Control System. Among them, the Vehicle Information Terminal was composed of voice station broadcast platform, converter, terminal player and Buck-Boost vehicle mounted power supply voltage regulator module which was developed applications based on the Android platform via the converter STM8S207 and RS-485 to realize transmission of stops’ datum for the ad appearance turned into station appearance on LCD screen. The Background Control System included a control server, a backstage management terminal and a database. The control server system attached to the FTP protocol for the player provided database support and vehicle terminal through the network to transfer files. Multimedia files, advertisings and the necessary station datum were stored in the database. The management terminal(bus online system) through the HTTP requested the server to browser monitoring and then monitored operations of the vehicle through the WEB browser. In addition, two algorithms were designed so that the Background Control System could predict the arrival time of the vehicle and optimize the vehicle departure time. After a lot of testing, the system had been on vehicle more than 300 units and their satisfied stability had been confirmed. This research made the Vehicle Information Publishing Platform achieve multiple functions such as broadcast advertising, publishing information, clock display, images display and information prediction to make up for the deficiency of existing single function products. This new multi-function platform has certain practical value and commercial value which has wide developing prospect.This paper firstly summarized demand analysis of the Automotive Business Information Publishing Platform function, system architecture and described key technologies of the system. Secondly it established to a detailed analysis respectively from two aspects of the hardware system and software system development to explain the vehicle terminal and focus on study of the key techniques such as the Buck-Boost regulator system, the hardware watchdog reset circuit, RS-485 circuit and the player terminal based on Android platform. Then this paper presented a method of the Background Control System achieving commercial information transmission and vehicle monitoring, constructed a model of bus arrival time prediction based on BP neural network and optimization model of vehicle departure time interval. Finally, the system test illustrated the final results of vehicle information publishing platform. Multimedia playback and stations inserted functions were detected in testing way of the experimental station. Environment adaptability and remote network transmission were detected in testing way of vehicle testing.
