With more and more widely used in the field of visualization system, various types of 3D scene editing software emerge in an endless stream, but the market of these software are powerful, complex, and some software are simple but cannot meet the needs of specific applications. Therefore the development of many types of scenes can be generated quickly lightweight editing software is necessary, which is a very important part for generating and editing the terrain, so it has important value of research and application.The mobile phone signal test system as the application background, developed a 3D terrain scene editing system can quickly generate different terrain and subsequent editing.The system implement the function of constructing 3D terrain, and editing the terrain features, the system also supports further editing operations on the ground, including the addition of different width, different surface features of road and river, the system can quickly and easily generate a variety of specific terrain scene in order to meet the needs of mobile phone testing scenarios.According to the above requirements, this paper conducts the thorough research, the specific work done is as follows:(1) Through the research of 3D terrain modeling method, using bilinear interpolation algorithm for constructing 3D terrain model, a square search box is designed for improving the efficiency of interpolation. And implement the design and implementation of terrain editing adjustment, ensuring the terrain surface smoother in drag.(2) Focus on the real sense of path generation technology research and design the road geometry model is generated based on the buffer, makes full use of the terrain expression proposed by regular grid expansion to generate buffer method, so as to ensure to pick up point for center specific width of road model real-time rendering, at the same time, the use of multilevel texture blending technology, set reasonable alpha-map fusion between road and surface texture, smooth. The study results were applied to the elements of rivers, water and other objects.(3) According to the system requirements, 3D terrain scene editing system overall frame is designed, according to the thought of different system structure design of the hierarchical mode and the function, the function module for detailed is designed, in accordance with the idea of object oriented to design, draw the common pumping like algorithm, improving the reusability of code, facilitating the project of expansion, using OpenGL and MFC, realized the 3D terrain scene editing system.Through the research of 3D terrain scene editing system, realized the 3D terrain scene construction and editing features, and in the editing process of real-time rendering results. The final system can quickly generate a variety of terrain, and meets the requirements of mobile phone testing needs all kinds of scenes.
