Transmission system is the most basic and core part of the communication network, and the performance of the transmission network is the essential of the whole network maintenance quality. Traditional transmission network management system is a complex environment consist of multiple vendor equipment, multiple layer network, multiple level units to maintain the environment, mostly rely on manual mode has been unable to meet the fast and efficient network management and maintenance requirements. To achieve intensive management of the provincial level of the transmission network, some requirements such as "The whole process of network monitoring" and "Centralized operation and maintenance " have become the most important issues in the network construction and optimization of telecom operators. Aiming at the main problems of transmission network management and combining with the actual engineering case of Jiangxi Telecom, this paper deeply studies and analyzes the optimization scheme of transmission network management oriented to intensive management.Firstly, this thesis gives a brief introduction of the transmission network and the network overall technical scheme, and discusses the transmission network optimization to solve the main problems, including intensive management covers the centralized monitoring, operation planning and intelligent inspection and operation analysis of main function. Combining with the actual project of Jiangxi Telecom’s provincial transmission network management, this paper gives a practical optimization scheme. The design scheme has been implemented in practical engineering, which has achieved good results in improving the security, convenience and utilization of network resources.
