With the gradually rising of elderly population in our country, the phenomenon of empty nest is increasing and the daily monitoring demand of old man is growing. At the same time, there are lots of disease, injury and disabilities who need rehabilitation treatment by exercise training, which has great concerns linked with movement parameter of quantitative monitoring and intervention. Moreover, some disease such as Alzheimer can be delayed or getting improved treatment effect through early screening and precaution. Based on the MEMS(Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) inertial sensors, this article designed the security identification equipment for old man’s motion state, which can monitor the movement information of old man in real time. Also, it can be used for early detection, early precaution, early intervention to some common chronic disease. This equipment has wide application in biological medicine, sports training, daily activity monitoring and other fields, providing a new thought for remote medical treatment and family health care as well.In this paper, on the basis of feasibility analysis to the system, implementation plan was designed. With the application of Atmega328 microcontroller and MEMS inertial sensor device such as ADXL345, ITG3200, HMC5883 L, we constructed the hardware platform of attitude measuring. After sensor data collection and pretreatment, PC would receive the data from Bluetooth module through wireless transmission. Based on the research of attitude measurement theory, choice of master-slave machine software and secondary development, this system accomplished the algorithm of attitude and data fusion, reached the function of motion data save, 3D movement posture display in real time and grade evaluation. This system provides the real-time posture changing and scoring of monitored objects for relevant personnel.In this article, through the laboratory test, the designed human movement monitoring system based on nine shaft wireless transmission platform can simulate &display old man’s motion status in real-time, save movement data, give sports scores and safety level. This research, to some extents, provides certain basis and means for old man remote monitoring, disease precaution and rehabilitation.
