With the emergence of various new technologies monopulse antenna, the form of single pulse antenna is more and more diversified. So for monopulse antenna and feed network is particularly important. According Microstrip slot coupled antenna and antenna array theory,it design two kind of new L-band monopulse antenna array.Firstly, Microstrip slot coupled antenna use as an antenna unit, composed of 4 × 4 antenna array, and according to Gysel splitters,it design a new annular bridge as the sum and difference network. And then it designed a one-dimensional 1-band monopulse antenna array. And in order to overcome the negative effects caused by mutual coupling, reducing the role of the mutual coupling between the antenna elements, the thesis on this issue has been studied and analyzed. On the basis of the above work, this article also improved the feed network. It use a three-branch microstrip couplers and the phase shifter to form a cross-shaped microstrip sum-difference network for the single pulse antenna array. Then it design a monopulse antenna array another two-dimensional L-band, the antenna array is capable of simultaneously acquired azimuth information and pitch information. In the HFSS software simulation results show that both the direction of the antenna diagram performance is good, and maximum gain direction are about 16dB, the maximum gain difference direction are about 13dB, and zero depth also better than -30dB, each port VSWR is less than 2 in the frequency band of operation, the indicators antennas meet the design requirements. This thesis presents two monopulse antenna feed structure and its antenna patch placed on the same plane, so that the antenna to overcome the traditional monopulse antenna bulky, complex support structures and other shortcomings, easier systems and antennas integration, adapted to the needs of modern antenna development.
