In today’s domestic and foreign in the field of image processing technology, the flame image technology is an important research direction and research route. This technology has broad application prospects, no matter in the scientific research, education, military, industrial, or entertainment, medical and other fields, have very important research and application value. Based on flame image processing, image details can be displayed more effective, but the process data, and the real-time performance is low. Therefore, the flame image compression processing, become a research direction of the technology.In the past, many researchers to image compression many different algorithms have been proposed, many of which have become the current mainstream compression algorithms. But the flame image and general image of different characteristics, namely the general image grayscale change overall picture is clear; Flame images in the foreground and background gray level change is smooth, and variance between foreground and background is intense. General compression algorithm, therefore, cannot be directly applied to the flame image compression, the need for conventional algorithm to make certain improvement. According to the characteristics of the flame image, this paper puts forward a kind of flame image compression method quickly. This method first triangular mesh subdivision of the flame image, and then based on triangular mesh subdivision of the flame image compression, which can effectively compress the flame image data, the flame image transmission, storage, has certain use and reference value.In this paper, the flame image triangle mesh subdivision algorithm. The algorithm of a flame of fire condition of topological characteristics, extract the flame image of one of the main features of the left view point, through the calculation of normalized covariance, looking for and match the feature points in right view. According to the final match of left and right view feature points, the implementation of the left view Delaunay triangle subdivision, forming a triangular mesh. Finally, the triangular mesh subdivision of the left view deformation map processing, the color information of the corresponding points and to assign values to the deformation image, to complete the flame image compression; we can also according to the inverse operation of compression algorithm to extract image. Experimental results show:the proposed algorithm can achieve rapid and accurate flame image compression expected effect. Through the flame image compression processing, after the decompression restore image distortion ratio is low, the outline of the image and characteristics of basic no loss, macroscopic observation without any discomfort.
