Ultrasound imaging is an edge discipline which combines many high and new technologies. Ultrasound imaging system has the characteristics of direct visualization, low cost, non-invasive, painless, convenient and effective. Therefore, ultrasound imaging system has been widely used in medical, detection and other fields. In terms of ultrasonic imaging, the higher the resolution of ultrasonic imaging system, the more sophisticated of the showed the structure, the higher the efficiency of medical diagnosis and detection. Traditional ultrasound imaging system has low resolution and poor imaging quality, which restricts the development of ultrasound imaging system. Therefore, it is a very important and challenging task to explore and research the ultrasound imaging system with high spatial resolution. The PVDF piezoelectric film has a piezoelectric effect, and when the ultrasonic wave is received, the acoustic signal can be converted into electrical signals. Topmetal pixel sensor chip is designed and developed by the laboratory, with high position resolution, high integration, small volume, fast response speed and low noise etc. The main content of this paper is to use the PVDF piezoelectric film and Topmetal pixel sensor chip to develop a new type of ultrasonic receiver. Lay the foundation for the new method of high resolution ultrasound imaging. The main research work of this paper is reflected in the following two aspects:1, Design and manufacture of the ultrasonic receiver based on Topmetal, and observe the charge induction signal reflected the needle image through the experiment of needle。For the first time found that the Topmetal pixel sensor chip has the ability to sense charge.2, To set up the testing and analysis platform, to test and analyze the characteristics of the noise, signal and response linearity of the ultrasonic receiver based on Topmetal. The results show that the system noise is (1.28±0.06)mV, and the received signal is linear with the ultrasonic intensity. These results have a positive role in promoting the application of Topmetal sensor.
