Research And Application Of Application Performance Analysis Software Based On High Performance Computer Cluster

With the development of seismic exploration technology, the requirements to the high performance computer cluster are also increasing on the oil exploration seismic processing field; the application of high performance computer cluster performance directly affects the working efficiency of the seismic data processing. For a have multiple sets of clusters, different architectures of high performance computer computing center, we must carries on the scientific application performance analysis and find performance bottlenecks in order to carry out the reason able performance optimization, so as to improve the overall performance of the cluster.The research of this paper is completed on the hardware architecture of the high performance computer cluster in a processing center. In view of the existing four sets of high performance computer clusters produced by different manufacturers of different hardware architectures. We have carried on the thorough analysis and the research to each set of clusters, and we study and apply the functions of the application performance analysis software developed by the four sets of cluster. Through the application of performance analysis software to find the cluster performance bottleneck, we develop a set of high performance computer cluster performance optimization and synthesis technology on purpose which improve the overall performance of the cluster.At first, the thesis analyze the development course, concept, composition and all the characteristics of high performance computer cluster, which is based on the high performance computer cluster technology. Secondly, the paper analyzes and studies the four sets of high performance computer clusters in a company’s processing center. Then from each cluster of hardware layer, network layer, application system level carries on the careful study, and development of a set of application performance analysis software which is functional and intensification. At the same time for each key performance indicators carried on the thorough research and the application performance analysis software functions are described in detail. This software analysis various indicators,find out performance pitfalls and improve the system of high performance computer cluster by optimizing hardware level,system level,application level and micro level architecture.Finally, we analyses and research the application examples of both application performance analysis software and corresponding optimization based on high performance computer clusters. The software and the corresponding optimization technique has been used on the four sets of high performance computer cluster, and the application effect is good.
