Ta Kung Pao Reports About Northwest China During 1946

The vast northwest China deep inside in the Eurasian vast, area of nearly a third of the catch in our country. Northwest China is one of the most important minority areas in our country, too.Since the "China Western Development", there are many reports about the national problem, the economic construction, the people’s livelihood problem in the mass media. But they all tend to be stereotype and lack of humanistic care.Taking history as a mirror. After the Anti-Japanese War in 1946, the Nanking national government slowed down the speed of the western development. The Ethnic problems, Civil war, livelihood problems exposed, which is similar to today.Ta Kung Pao is regarded as one of the most influential newspaper in modern China, which showed the diverse problems in northwest China vividly during 1946.The reports on Ta Kung Pao is full of humanistic care and stick to the tradition of "Scholars commenting on politics". During the Ethnic problems reports, Ta Kung Pao adhered the position of national unity, criticized Han Chauvinism and supported national autonomy; During the Civil war reports, Ta Kung Pao kept balanced reporting, highlighted the suffering of the people and called for peace; The livelihood problems reports was various and full of humanistic. Da Kong Pao also put forward some suggestions for sustainable development.My dissertation focus on the Ta Kung Pao’s reports about northwest China in 1946. The main research methods of this thesis are documentation method. Through this research, I think the reports about northwest China today should avoid rigid and add more humanistic.
