With the rapid development of science and technology, communication technology and network technology, people’s demand for quality of life has been improved. Indoor environment as the main living environment, has gradually attracted people’s attention. In this situation, information perception system based on indoor service environment arises at the historic moment. The development of information perception technology challenges the perception technology and data transmission technology, the existing technology has been unable to meet the requirements of the intelligent and high-speed perception system. The inchoate smart home with the cable plan has poor scalability and mobility. While wireless sensor network has convenient maintenance capability, and it’s more efficient, flexible, real-time and scalable.This thesis designs and implements an information perception system for indoor service environment. It can provide real-time information to application platform. This perception system consists of sensor module, controller module, wireless transmission module, database processing platform, and the Android applications software. This thesis first introduces the technologies of the perception system and the system’s characteristics and analyzes the information requirements of indoor service system. Then an information perception terminal is designed by choosing a sensor which can collect information quickly and in real time, and using nRF24L01 with fast transmission rate and small volume as the wireless transmission module. This terminal sends the data that collected by sensors to database. On this basis, designs an Android mobile terminal, through the terminal users can query the information collected from the environment. This terminal has the function of data query and SMS(Short Message Service) alarm function, and users can monitor the indoor environment information in real time through the terminal. Finally, the feasibility of the system is verified by the system test.
