| Laser Engineering Net Shaping technology combines the advantages of Rapid Prototyping technology and Laser Cladding technology. In the actual production, it shows great value of easy part design, high material utilization, strong mechanical and chemical properties of forming part and etc. It is widely applied to aerospace, automotive, biomedical fields and etc.Currently, stainless steel Laser Engineering Net Shaping parts are prepared under 2000W power laser. Because under 2000W power laser, the heat buildup of molten pool is small. The part is easy to shape. But the laser scanning speed is slow and the forming time is long. Laser Engineering Net Shaping is little reported above 3000W high-power laser. The article analyzed the effect of the process parameters of single channel and summed up the influence of surface topography on laser power, scanning speed and powder feed rate. Finally a set of optimal parameters was got under high laser power conditions.Based on the optimal combination of process parameters of single channel experiments, the design of multi-channel tile forming part was carried out. The vertical rise and the scan path in the forming process was analyzed and optimized. Finally the collapse missing defect of two ends of the forming part was effectively improved. The smooth part of symmetrical ends and consistent layer was successfully obtained.The test of the performance of forming part shows that the microstructure was evenly distributed. The hardness and tensile strength is good. The result shows that compared with forming same part under low power laser conditions, using high power laser can also form good parts through optimizing process parameters and scanning paths. But the forming time is greatly reduced and the processing speed is effectively improved. |
