Contact IC cards are one type of IC cards, they can be read and written when contactors touch each other, can not be disturbed easily when operating, So they are usually applied in occasions need higher security requirement. For example, bank cards and gas cards. This subject in order to research and develop a testing machine cheap but applying strongly.The service life testing machine for contact IC card includes the mechanical structures and electrical appliances, this subject adopts modular design for scheme, the concept of paralling design and manufacture to complete the design and production of the prototype.In the process of mechanical structure design, the test machine was mainly divided into main-movement unit, sub-movement unit, follower unit, IC-card-socket unit and other ancillary components according to the function, by choosing appropriate structure each function unit can realize the corresponding function. And its main stress components adopt Hypermesh and Abaqus for finite element analysis to check their strength. The design of the electrical part adopts MSP430F5310 . microcontroller, the electrical schematic diagram part adopts Altium Designer software, the source program adopts the IAR EW430 software with C language. After the completion of the manufacture, we adopt the JTAG debugger and IAR EW430 software for online debugging and the downloading of source program. Each part function and general function of the service life testing machine for contact IC card can meet the design requirements, testing 1-6 times/min effectively.
