At present, with the rapid development of science and technology, the level of people’life is increasing day by day, so the health of the body is more and more concerned by people. Because of China’s large population, the existing medical conditions far cannot satisfy the needs of patients. Cardiovascular disease with sudden and transient results in high morbidity and death rate. It has become one of the biggest risk factors for human health. Cardiovascular disease detection depends on the hospital machine mainly. Patients have to wait for a test at the particular situation such as a hospital, it often leads to test results not in time and miss the best time for treatment. In recent years, the development of mobile health, family health can effectively solve these problems.Complete system is mainly composed of acquisition device, the client and the server three parts. In this paper, the main design is to implement the client software design. According to the actual demand, we are committed to developing an electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring based on Android smartphone, only need install the software in the smartphone with connection of specific acquisition device, which can detect ECG signal anywhere anytime. In addition, the mobile application can save ECG data without distortion, facilitate ECG signal reproduction and adjuvant therapy. Thus, the user can do ECG monitoring according to individual physical condition and personal wishes, effectively avoid the traditional medical bring a lot of inconvenience.ECG software on the basis of research ECG filtering and detection algorithms, analyzes the demand for ECG monitoring software and designs modular ECG application. In order to improve the smart health software displayed ECG heart rate single, ECG software can display heart rate, QRS duration and user ECG status, completing the preliminary detection of ECG. The application using Java language and Eclipse software program is to achieve user management, bluetooth communication, data processing, waveform display, storage and management of file functions. After the function test of Android 4.0 version, the software worked properly, the various parts of the module implemented well to meet the design requirements, the interface friendly, the operation simple. It has a certain level of theoretical and practical value and has practical significance for the development of related products.
