In the wake of the development of "Internet +", the artificial intelligence has been specifically raised to the national strategic level by the government, and face recognition technology is an important part of the artificial intelligence industry. At the moment, face recognition system has been widely used in government, military, banking institutions,e-commerce, security and some other fields, and the system will continue to work with the traditional industries deeply, it has showed a broad development prospects.At present, the face recognition access control technology has become a standard equipment in the modern residential community, "face swiping to pass" greatly promote the convenience of the community residents and management, so a face access control system which is based on multi-feature fusion algorithm was designed. The human body sensor monitors the environment in real time and when someone walks into the sensing range, the system will start the camera to acquire image. In order to solve the inconvenience of the recognized person must stand in the specified location, so the active face detection and tracking algorithm are designed to improve the users’ experience. And a new algorithm that is combined the improved module 2D principal component analysis with the median weight maximum scatter difference is proposed to extract the face feature. At the last, the system uses the classifier which is trained by the incremental support vector machine to identify the person. Due to the algorithm that has been proposed, the face access control system has the ability of rapid detection and identification, and even more the self-learning ability.The face access control system consists of access controller, camera, computer server and some other parts. The entire network uses the RS485/RS232 and TCP/IP protocol to transmission data in order to meet the system’s requirements for the transmission rate,distance and stability of the data. The system’s software has some functions such as the image database automatically updates, access rights management, personal access record inquiry and remote access capabilities to meet the community administrator’s requirements.
