With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards, and the publicsafety awareness gradually strengthening, the public pay great attention to security.Theaccess control system has become a focus of the security field as part of the overallsecurity system.And along with the rapid development of computer technology,facerecognition technology has been favored by the majority of R&D institutions in thesecurity field.Face is a unique biological characteristic,face recognition is a technology that firstcaptures facial image,then extracts the facial features in order to achieveauthentication.Since Face recognition technology has advantages of simpleoperation,intuitive results and so on,it has a wide range of applications in informationsecurity, access control and other fields.Face recognition access control system whichthis thesis designs and implements mainly aims at small office,home and otherapplications with fewer.Considering portable use, energy costs and other factors,weadopt a good performance embedded hardware platform to build access control system.The thesis chooses Forlinx OK6410-A development board as the hardwaredevices,and selects Android operating system as the software platform.System achievesintelligent control of access control system through the acquisition and processing offacial images.The article firstly introduces the research background and significance ofthe issue, and the development status of face recognition technology at home andabroad. Secondly the design goals and overall system design are focused on,andhardware design of the system is described in detail.Then the main algorithms involvedin the system implementation are analyzed at great length. Finally the thesis focuses onthe specific implementation of the main functions of the system. And given the actualapplication scenarios, the article proposes a remote request and access permissionsmanagement design scheme.The test results show that the system is of good usability,and has the characteristicsof low cost,low power consumption,stable performance.For office space with fewerstaff, families and other small places, the system can obtain a higher recognition rateand speed, compensate for the lack of security systems in small occasions, and have agood application value.
