IoT has extremely broad application prospect and huge market demand, many famous organizations and companies are trying to promote the development of the IoT.There is already a variety of IoT architectures, but doesn’t have a uniform, general one suitable for industrial production. Given this, on the basis of the various IoT architectures, this article would design one IoT architecture which is suitable for industrial environments and integration gateway for the architecture. By studying the IoT architecture development, proposed the three-tier platform architecture: perception layer, network layer, application layer above the clouds. Combined with three layers architecture, design software architecture and detailed defines the name of the modules, functions and interface of the software. Also design data flow in software and divided into acquisition data flow, manage data flow, control data flow and combined with background of industrial production are analyzed in detail to the data flow.The network connections of the cloud platform architecture have two ways: direct connection and through the gateway. In order to better cooperate with platform, this paper designed the gateway that can apply to the architecture. The gateway can be divided into three layers:information access layer, business logic layer, uplink communication layer. Focus on the business logic layer. Defines the gateway application framework and divided the program into eleven projects, define every project’s component and function. For gateway function module gives design and implementation method of data collection, data encapsulation, watchdog and Configuration management. The database in gateway use Redis, given its transplantation, storage structure design, call interface.For the shortage of the request/response communication mechanism, the Pub/Sub system base on MQTT was designed in IoT gateway. Through the study of lightweight Pub/Sub system, and optimize the subscribers and publishers workflow to achieve asynchronous communication.Finally, set up and test Pub/Sub system in Linux. Experiments show that the Pub/Sub system base on MQTT meet integration gateway requirement of data distribution.
