With the rapid development of technology related to Internet of Things, more and more IoT device appears in the industrial production and people’s lives. They often need to cooperate with each other to accomplish specific tasks. However, the diversity and heterogeneity of the functions of the device make the interaction between devices complicated, increasing the workload of building the IoT system. The interaction between the devices should be carried out in a uniform manner, which will help improve the system’s scalability and flexibility. Besides, the diversity of the underlying hardware and communication of IoT devices improve the difficulty to system development. The details of the underlying hardware and communication of IoT devices should be transparent to developers.This paper firstly analyzes the evolution of the structure of the system Internet of Things and make a brief introduction to the service-oriented architecture. At the same time, explaining the feasibility and advantages of applying service-oriented architecture to Internet of Things. Secondly, it introduces service oriented IoT device architecture and analyzes the Alljoyn framework’s service architecture, which explains that Alljoyn framework can enable the interaction between devices in a uniform manner and can make the details of the underlying hardware and communication of device transparent to developers. Finally, it discuss and analyzes the Alljoyn framework’s applications in the proximal network and between proximal networks.
