From Creative Interpretation To Localized Construction

Marxist political thought is an important component of the views of Journalism of Marxism. As the founder of the theory of political communication of scientific socialism, Marx and Engels had a deep and incisive, magnificent and representational cognition towards political communication, which dramatically highlights the logic and speculative nature as well as the value of dimension of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, and makes a great contribution to promoting modern political exchanges and human thoughts. In general, political communication refers to an organized, planned exchange with certain scales for political information, carried out for the public through mass media by governments or persons, aiming at building a bridge between the government and the public and ensuring the effective functioning of governmental work. From the overall perspective, we indeed have achieved a great many tangible results in the following areas of political communication, such as the construction for value, building for political image, social integration and control, etc, and fully made its function to be played to the best. However, under the constraint of transition of media ecology from the "governmental propaganda" to "political communication", China’s current political exchanges--as an important carrier of public relations, also faced some developmental dilemma, such as the lagged communicating mechanisms, the public crisis of confidence and scarcity of professional personnel, even these problems and drawbacks are becoming more obvious and severe in the era of network, which poses a great threat to Chinese political and social modernization. Accordingly, this paper, on the basis of discoursing Marx and Engels’s theory of political communication, with the combination of present situation of China’s contemporary political reform as well as the use of technological achievements of Internet, attempts to study how to step out of the shackles of political communication, and raise relevant suggestions. This paper also takes aim at enabling the intrinsic ethos and characteristics of the thoughts of socialist political communication to be comprehensively, objectively and rationally grasped in public, so as to broaden people’s knowledge and horizons.
