Location based service is an important developing direction of the mobile Inter-net. With the popularity of smartphones and other intelligent mobile device, more and more innovative applications based on user’s location information emerges. Location based services are profoundly changing the way of people’s life. In 2014, following the Tencent taking a stake in the NavInfo to arrange mapping service, Alibaba Group completed the full acquisition of Amap. At this point, the big three domestic Inter-net company Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent accomplish the rearrangement of mapping service.Navigation service is an important part of location based service. After years of development, the accuracy of Global Positioning System (GPS) continuously increas-es, which has been able to meet the need of outdoor navigation service basically. In the field of transportation and ocean sailing, outdoor navigation has achieved great success. However, due to the building block and multipath effect in indoor environ-ment, the Global Positioning System cannot be used. As one of the key technologies in navigation system, current indoor localization technology is far to be mature. In recent years, Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) technology is develop-ing rapidly. Large numbers of low-cost RFID tags distributed in the environment and the thought of "crowd-sourcing" bring new solutions to traditional problems. This paper focus on the problem of indoor navigation. We propose an opportunistic net-works based indoor moving target navigation mechanism. Localization of the moving target is stored in the RFID network, which is spreaded in the form of "storage-carry-forward" by the movement behaviors of users. According continuously collect position information of the target, navigation of moving target can be accomplished. The main contributions of this paper includes the following two parts:First, based on message forwarding mechanisms in the Opportunistic Networks, we design a new message forwarding mechanism in our tags network which is com-posed by RFID tags and mobile users. In the mechanism, messages are divided into two categories, and mobile users are divided into three different roles. Different roles of user deals with the corresponding message in the form of "storage-carry-forward". We propose a target area based navigation algorithm to accomplish the path selection.Second, because the storage resources of RFID tags are limited, a method of tags resource management approach is also proposed. Such as the sectional management of storage space, write and replacement strategy. Furthermore, We verify the performance of proposed navigation mechanism on the Random Walk mobility model and the Ran-dom Way Point mobility model, Experiment results show that our navigation solution can efficiently reduce the average searching time. In order to more truly reflect the performance of the our navigation mechanism, we conduct experiment on real traceset of sellers and customer in a shoping mall environment to verify the effectiveness of our navigation solution.
