With the development of digital array radar technology, its role in the military is invaluable. As a core part of the array of radar, T/R module’s performances have a significant impact on the radar. So the performances of these tests also have become an important link. The testing results also provide must of help for T/R module of development. The object of testing includes ADC performance parameters and channel performance parameters for T/R component received channel. And if the testing is not in such as laboratory test facility, you need to move a variety of heavy requisite equipment. It’s particularly troublesome. So the simple automatically test system also has a definite demand. This thesis is to develop a virtual instrument based on application software. And the system testing is done by the computer through interacting with external data. It will reduce the cost of testing and human error of testing.In this thesis, the test system of T/R module consists of the hardware and software components. In the hardware part, FPGA is the main control. The fiber interface is for receiving data, DDRII will received of data for caching, and then the data will be interactive transferred between the cPCI chip and host. In this process,the FPGA is responsible for receiving data, solutions package distribution processing, and caching and data interactive controlling. The software part is a upper machine program, of main control device. And we design two sets software for broadband and narrowband signals. They are general same, just have some differences on data’s bit of receiving data and the number of channels. Its developing is based on the CodeBlocks. And its main tasks include the design of testing interface with GUI library(wxWidgets), the processing for data flowing, the drawing of waveform in time domain and frequency domain(frequency domain waveform’s FFT transferring using FFTW libraries transform), and the most important calculation and displaying of performance parameter.This thesis starts from the general design of hardware and software, then the algorithm researching for all performance parameters, including the simulation of MATLAB algorithms, and then the software program’s detail design, finally the testing for functional and performance of the system to complete the validation.
