As an important part of the vehicle control stations having tracking system, single channel mono-pulse tracking receiver can accomplish target tracking by receiving tracking the input frequency modulation signal, calculating the angle error and converting to the analog voltage send servo control unit. Meanwhile, according to the modulation signal processing, it can also calculate the phase difference between the signals and the difference signal, and then put in the phase shifter after converted to digital signal.Limited by today’s A/D conversion technology, single pulse single-channel tracking receiver’s digitization are carried out in the intermediate frequency. Compared to the previous analog receiver, digital mono-pulse tracking receiver makes the complex circuitry significantly reduces and improves the reliability of equipment and the tracking precision, and for the development team, digital equipment costs are significant reduced.This thesis firstly makes a detailed analysis to mono-pulse tracking principle, which emphasizes the single pulse single channel tracking receiver 0/π modulation, and then gives the corresponding demodulation algorithm. According to the mission statement requirements, with signal digitized in intermediate frequency 70 MHz and the combination of FPGA and DSP chip, complete the corresponding function of traction, lock, signal demodulation, we can calculate the angle error, and then convert into analog voltage servo control unit, finally finish the target tracking. The main content of this thesis are as follows:1. It expounds the mono-pulse 0/π modulation principle of single channel tracking receiver, and the modulation process is derived in detail.2. The digital signal processing technology needed in the design process is detailed described, including the band-pass sampling theorem, digital phase locked loop, fast Fourier transform. And the calculation method of the amplitude frequency characteristic and the main parameters of the active proportional integral filter are analyzed in detail.3. It describes the vehicle single channel single pulse tracking receiver of the specific circuit implementation. It mainly includes the design of indicators, performance requirements, core chip selection, the design of signal processing circuit, the design of monitoring process. Among them, the most important is for the design of the signal processing circuit, including intermediate frequency receiving processing module and signal processing unit design tracking.(1) For the intermediate frequency receiving processing unit, the paper mainly discusses the design process of the frequency traction and digital phase locked loop module.(2) For tracking signal processing module, the thesis made a detailed derivation of the demodulation algorithm, and.verifying the feasibility of modulation-demodulation algorithm by programming and simulating.4. The measurement of single pulse tracking receiver is completed. The final results show that the design of single pulse single channel tracking receiver meets the specification requirements.
