Single Channel Monopulse (SCM) technology is one commonly used technology in tracking system. Economizing the use of the Channels, reducing the cost effectively, simply controlling, increasing the system stability are the advantages of this kind of system. Compared to the three or double Channels tracking system, this system can reduce the system cost by half or more, and some extra technology demands can be ignored.This dissertation firstly introduces the evolution of the Single Channel Monopulse (SCM) system, and the tracking theory. Then the system's specific application in the ADAS system is detailed introduced in this dissertation, including the antenna system, receiver system and the controlling software system.Then the ADAS system is introduced in this dissertation, including the hardware environment & the switching between different tracking modes.This dissertation also discussed the software realization method of the error information sampling and the servo data transferring. Some important factors which affect the result in these processes are detailed discussed. Some plans for these factors are also compared. At last the Visual C++ realization of the Auto tracking controlling system in Window-XP environment is discussed.Also the hand aidded tracking system's realization in Window-XP environment is introduced in this dissertation. The hand aidded tracking data's processing is detailed discussed.At last, the testing and debugging process are discussed in this dissertation, including the computer simulation stage, indoor debugging stage, outdoor testing and bebugging stage and the checking on delivery stage. The important factors which afftect the testing results are also analyzed.The test results show that the auto tracking system and the hand aidded tracking system are effective, convenient. The tracking performance meets the design target.
