For the management software based on the computer platform, after many years of development, the current technology has been mature.Based on this, this paper in Sichuan Water Conservancy Vocational and Technical College as the object design of student information management system ", by our previous demand analysis, modeling, development, implementation and application process, the college and the actual demand is matched, the college internal management processes were to standardize and improve, but also in line with the school’s long-term planning. We in the system design and development, should make the system has a good user experience, to ensure the security of the data, to run stable and reliable, which is good for our future similar systems design with reference.The work of this paper is mainly from the following aspects:(1) Student information management status of Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of water conservancy conducted an investigation, current management problems and the development of student information management system necessity is analyzed from the perspective of the school, and understand the current situation of the development of the information management work for students in Colleges and universities at home and abroad, combined with the current situation at home and abroad, analyzes the student information management system of the college development significance and application value.(2) Of related technologies of in-depth research and study, also to refer to the large number of system architecture knowledge, on the basis of this, combining demand plan has carried on the system overall design, system detailed design, database design, etc., for the subsequent development of system well enough preparation.(3) According to the front of the system design, the use of Eclipse platform, Java technology and Oracle database management system for coding and implementation. Finally developed system is based on B/S architecture, and includes the system performance layer, business logic layer and data access layer of the three layer structure.(4) The problems encountered in design and implementation of the system are analyzed, and the corresponding solutions are analyzed, and the lessons learned are summarized.
