The IOT for Manufacturing is a new pattern of industrial production for real-time sensing, intelligent control and dynamic scheduling in the whole manufacturing process. Although the IOT technology for manufacturing has greatly improved in data aware, human-computer interaction and production control, there are still many problems need to be addressed:The sensor network coverage throughout the manufacturing process, and the sensing equipment are finite energy and various, so it will prone to sensing vulnerability and also result in paralysis of the sensor network. On the other hand, large-scale manufacturing will be easy to prone to accumulate huge data, so the real-time performance and processing efficiency of the data transmission will be affected by the transmission path selection. According to the technical characteristics of the IOT and the existing problems, this paper will research as follows:Analyzing present development situation of ITM, in order to improve the manufacturing efficiency and data reliability. At the same time, it will put forward a four layer network architecture for ITM and a network structure of data transmission. Moreover, it also analysis the technical characteristics of wireless sensor networks on data transmission. So the above analysis can provides the theoretical support for the following study.Analyzing the technical features of wireless sensor networks in Manufacturing Shop, and learning the WSN routing algorithm, the data transmission model and the energy-aware model. For solving the problem of the sensor nodes are energy constrained and the energy consumption is uneven distributed, it will proposed an energy-aware and uneven clustering WSN strategy(EAUC), which can effectively balances the energy consumption of the sensor nodes and prolong the lifetime of WSN.In view of the characteristics of high data reliability and accuracy requirements for ITM, it proposed a data transmission strategy(ACOCA) with analyzing the data transmission process of manufacturing production and the congestion avoidance. In this strategy, it introducing the global searching ability of ant colony algorithm to select the optimal path, and selecting the next hop node according to the sensor node residual energy and congestion judgment, so the ACOCA algorithm can effectively alleviate the congestion of the network, and improve the real-time performance of data transmission.Finally, this paper simulated the EAUC strategy and the ACOHS algorithm on the NS-2 simulation platform. Compared with the traditional algorithm, the EAUC strategy and the ACOHS algorithm have better performance in energy balance, network lifetime and transmission efficiency, so it will improve the efficiency of data transmission in manufacturing workshop.
