Reverse engineering as one of the modern advanced design method, plays an important role in products development. With the development of computer aided geometric design, computer graphics, high performance computer technology rapid development and so on, reverse engineering technology has gained rapid development period of the hitherto unknown. In order to make the product more convenient and more conducive to support product innovation design, how to use the multi-sensor integrated measurement has become one of the focus of the reverse engineering research. This paper analyzes the domain decomposition of complex part, then select a suitable measuring equipment and integrated measuring and hybrid modeling, to provide guidance for the application of reverse engineering technology.In reverse engineering, measurement methods are mainly divided into contact and non-contacttype,two measurement methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. Contact measurement has high accuracy and robustness, but needs to be measured at point by point, and the measurement efficiency is low; Non-contact measurement is easy to obtain the global feature information of the product, which has high flexibility, high speed and high efficiency. AT the same time, material requirement is not high, but the measurement accuracy is low. So it is difficult to meet the requirements of high efficiency and high precision by using a single surface data method, and the measuring methods of integrating multiple measurement methods are very promising. This paper mainly includes the following 3 aspects.(1)Due to the use of the single measuring equipment for complex parts, has been unable to meet acquisition of the complex parts data, the measurement measuring results data directly affect the final data accuracy, and the element characteristics of complex part decomposed, and then match the corresponding equipment integrated measurement, measurement planning, which will effectively improve the measurement accuracy and measurement efficiency. Therefore, combined with the integrated measurement of the current domestic situation, and expounds the principle of several measurement methods in reverse engineering, analysis of measuring their respective advantages and disadvantages, a combination measurement method is proposed, a complex components are divided for different measurement area, to match the optimal measurement equipment for measurement.(2)On the optimal path planning for integrated measurement, the use of complex parts element characteristics of ideological divide, then in combination with the associated feature measurement. With non-contact scanning equipment articulated arm measuring speed and contact type CMM higher accuracy, this paper presents an automatic measuring path planning technology based on CMM optical scanner guide. Using the path planning technology of optical scanning device and the method of CMM automatic measurement is a good solution to excessive human interference in the process of measurement, effectively improve the measurement accuracy. At the same time, the way of automatic measurement to improve the measurement efficiency, only need to select the corresponding feature in the imported model, you can automatically generate a measurement path, greatly reducing the measurement time.(3)Based on Hybrid Modeling for alignment of multiple sensor data, after process the collection of data, and then use the reverse engineering software Geomagic design direct and positive Software Solidworks to reverse model. Finally, according to the common coordinate system for data model alignment. This modeling method has the characteristics of complex components of the model reconstruction and re-innovation, can effectively improve the efficiency of the re-innovation and improve the ability to modify the parameters of the reverse.
