With the rapid development of technology, array antenna is widely used in telecommunications, broadcasting, television, radar, navigation and other radio systems. The array antenna has multiple antenna elements and requires complex work environment high electromagnetic stability, presenting a very high demand for its control system control system, though related studies have shown that the array antenna has many unique advantages. According to the control requirements of an array antenna, a fast, real-time, stable multi-node network communication based on the master control system of VxWorks array antenna is studied.To achieve multi-node network communication between the master control system of the array antenna and other systems, the software architecture has been designed. Firstly, UDP communication is used to achieve the communication process under full investigation. Secondly, the communication structure has been studied and designed, including double buffer queue, multitasking, synchronous communication between tasks, memory protection and etc. Finally, in order to ensure that data errors do not occur during the network transmission process, this thesis has designed the network monitoring process and completed the related program. The software architecture integrated debugging shows that master control system of the array antenna can achieve real-time, stable communications.Based on the established multi-node communication network architecture, this thesis has carried out the research, design and validation of its application layer protocol according to the actual needs of the communication between the main array antenna system and other systems. First, according to the actual control needs, this article has given the content of the communication and a control sequence. Secondly, it defines a specialized communication protocol for the system, which is simple, fast, high real-time. Finally, the network communication between the VxWorks master control system and other systems were debugged including antenna control interface system and etc. The results show that VxWorks master control system can achieve the communication requirements of the application layer protocol and it has higher data transmission speed, less jitter though it presents a small amount of packet loss. All in all, it basically meets the requirements of the system.Packet loss for the communication process has been analyzed and controlled using a reliable protocol based on UDP, and the design optimization of this part has been completed. The results show that during communication the situation of data loss does not occur. Multi-node communication network based on the main control system has been put into practical application in an array antenna.
