From the invention of television and the popularity of the Internet, people’s lives are increasingly influenced and permeated by media. Especially the popular play of different entertainment program in recent years, it was gradually increasing that the impact that the audience is affected by media characters’words and actions, and it cause attention by the communication research studies. This relationship between the audience and media characters is similar to the relationship in reality society, it is known as "Para-social interaction" with a virtual, real-time and one-way features.There are lots of television programs by using " Para-social interaction" are getting much more popular, which is the most typical reality show. This is very similar to the daily life scenes and step by step eliminated the original well-defined barriers of space, and let the audience naturally melt into the area which the media to created. At the same time, based on the development of social networks, the para-social interaction is getting deeper in the society. Students groups in various media contact, inevitably with medium character of established a "social relationship". At the same time, due to their high activity in social network, create the necessary condition to maintain this virtual relationship.View evident and glimpse the whole picture. This will be in Hefei undergraduates for the study, the investigation focused on the audience, Anhui University, Hefei University, Anhui University of Architecture freshman Tai five groups of students and part of the newly graduated college students. What does the Para-social interaction impact student’s ideas and daily behavior? With age growth (freshman-senior), what kind of impact have been changed of such Para-social interaction occurs? What differences does Para-social interaction have between students of different gender? Once through the television program, the social network to establish Para-social interaction, what kind of connection does it have between the stability and the degree of relationship? For what reason do Students establish Para-social interaction? In this Para-social interaction, how much imagination have university students added in their favorite media characters? How to identify the relationship between students’everyday life and Para-social interaction? How much influence and penetration do media people affect attitudes and behaviors of university students? These problems like a magnet, attracting me to explore and thinking. This is the reason for choosing this topic, it is also driving force of this paper.In this study, the student population as the object for analysis from cognition, emotion and attitude in three dimensions, based on the theory of Para-social interactions on the basis of questionnaires by university students and their interviews, gather first-hand information. It is confirmed that female students are much easily to establish Para-social interaction than male students, and this paper is going to explore similarities and differences among them; Variety TV show, especially media people in reality shows are easily to establish social relationships with prospective university students; regardless of gender, difference grades, the relationship with media people Para-social interaction and the TV program impact on the audience, established a good value which shows a positive correlation; thereby that the whole media age students through media literacy be improved and media figures in the program in a positive value orientation mainly positive.This paper is divided into six parts, the first part is the background and content of the study make a brief statement of research and present papers hypothesis; the second part of this paper is to introduce a method, and the third part is a Para-social interaction students questionnaire data analysis, and a summary of the interview portion; the fourth part is the analysis of data and further explore the relationship between university students and para-social media people; the fifth part is the process shaped by students psychological interpretation and media characters, and the discussion of how to consider the audience psychology factors; the sixth part is the conclusion and inadequate.
