Development And Design Of The Public Electronic Reading Room Information Management System

Under the background of the national cultural information resources sharing project, the most important duty of a public electronic reading room information management system is to give excellent service for migrant workers from rural areas, teenagers, and the eldest. Its main characteristics is safe contents, wide coverage, service specification, and good environment. The goal of the system is to realize basic management function of different layers of information management system and keep work and service logs of public electronic reading room. Gather user register, use time and other comprehensive information, and manage basic information, appliances of the electronic public reading room by software to summarize grass-roots unit activities, and on the other hand also provide objective basis for serving backwards.This paper designs system main frame, usability structure, total usage charts, system layers, and work flows, most importantly analyzes needs to transform it into standard requirement document, in the meantime dicusses maintaining and improvement of the system. It designs a whole national public electronic reading room database, solves the problem of absence of such a system in a long time, while it only possesses some fundamental functions, simple system usability test is done.
