Weidian Globalbuy is the overseas shopping application of Weidian where overseas sellers can set up shop to provide purchasing services, and domestic buyers can buy overseas goods.The server side of Weidian Globalbuy is faced with complex technical challenges. This system needs to face high user concurrency, high flow access, to provide 7 x 24 service and to store and manage large volume of data, etc. Meanwhile, in order to meet frequently changing business requirements, the system also needs to have good extensibility in order to support rapid iteration evolution.To solve the technical challenges above, this system uses Java EE as the technical solution, and Spring, MyBatis, AppServer, Dubbo technology frameworks are also used. The system uses three-tier architecture and modular design, reducing the coupling to facilitate independent development. It also uses distributed systems and cluster deployment, improving concurrent performance, availability and scalability of the system. Then Dynamic Center and Shopping Live module is used as examples of the design before, covering the most significant and difficult part of this system.By good design and implementation, this system achieves the technical goal of high availabity, high performance, good extensibility and scalability, and satisfies business needs for consumers and overseas seller very well. As a result, Weidian Globalbuy brings users a reliable and comfortable purchasing experience of overseas shopping, finally achieving the company’s goal of business growth.
