In order to satisfy the high speed, low latency, and large capacity requirements of communication system, LTE system introduced a number of key technologies, such as enhanced multi-antennas (MIMO) technology, Coordinated Multiple Points Transmission/Reception (CoMP) technology, Carrier Aggregation (CA) technology, these technologies are all involved in the feedback of the channel quality indication (CQI).Therefore, CQI feedback mechanism and reliability are key factors whether these crucial technologies can play an important role in LTE system. In practical system, due to the fading characteristics of wireless channel, the channel estimation error, and the time delay error of feedback information, leads to possible error in channel state information of user report. And its accuracy directly affects the overall performance of the system.In this background, based on the actual communication system, CQI report testing process under carrier aggregation is designed. At the same time, aiming at the difficult of TD-LTE manual test, the CQI report automatic test is realized in the JCAT automatic test system and make positive contribution for the commercialization of TD-LTE. The main contents of this thesis is as follows:1.Based on the actual communication system, CQI report requirements is analyzed, CQI report testing process is designed and completed. Emphatically analyzed the important steps in the design process, including: constructing test software and hardware environment, configuring the parameters of the base station and system, UE automatically accessing, Iperf server sending packets, obtaining UE log during the process of accessing to the cell and data transmission, using the csv file to determine whether the test pass or not, restoring the test environment;2. Contrast analysis the JCAT(java common auto tester) and GTE(generic test environment) automatic test systems, obtained the properties of JCAT is more suitable for the automatic development of this test case.Through studying the function structure of the JCAT automatic test system and the edge module used in the project build, the main tasks to realize the automation of test cases is clarified.3. Design and writing of CQI report automation test code is Completed. Through the Maven build, it achieved the result:input a command, complete the whole process from open test to analysis of test results; Under CQI report of different signal verified the reliability of the code;4. Jenkins and Linux crontab scheduling principle of routine work are used to selectively scheduled the test cases in the system, automatically execute the test without human intervention.
