With the development of the electronic information technology, the monitoring system is more and more widely used, such as radar, communication and medical treatment, which gives the majority of users a very big help. The development of computing technology has laid a great foundation for the wireless mobile network in the invisible, which makes the demand of each field greatly increased. Especially in the aspect of remote monitoring, network technology has played an important role. It has greatly changed the user’s life and work, so the users don’t subject to the restrictions of time or position any more for control of some work. Real-time monitoring is a reasonable method. Wireless technology, image technology and network transmission method are integrated and applied in the monitoring system, which make up the traditional network.The purpose of the study is to establish a wireless sensor network. Based on it, the system can achieve real-time acquisition and monitoring for different terrain, no matter what kind of factors such as temperature, terrain intensity, wind speed, video, impedance, etc. And users can know the destination’s real-time dynamic through the system no matter when and where, so as to make reasonable plans for learning, and other aspects of life.To achieve the requirement of real-time data acquisition and monitoring, the system is divided into two parts: for small data(such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, etc.), the study uses wireless sensor networks with the ability of ad-hoc network based on ZigBee protocol; On the contrary for big data, the study adopts 3G wireless network. The system has the characteristics of low cost, high performance, and high real-time performance, and it has a wide range of application prospects.The main work of the system is divided into three aspects:1、In the data transmission of wireless sensor network, the system proposes a clustering method of wireless sensor network and a cluster topology control algorithm based on backup node. When the sink node fails, the cluster is formed by controlling the number of hops and the distance, and the backup node is selected in the cluster to ensure the smooth flow of the whole wireless sensor network.2、Video transmission is the system development technology based on 3G network. The video monitoring system consists of a monitoring terminal, a transmission network and a server.Monitoring terminal access to 3G mobile network through the 3G router, then the mobile network in the Internet through the mobile network operator station. Finally, the Internet will transmit the data to the web server to complete the display and storage of the real-time video.The system uses the structure of a server corresponding to a number of monitoring terminal, and different monitoring terminal has a unique IP address, which can distinguish different monitoring sites easily on the server.3、This system uses the open platform of Windows+Apache+Mysql+Php(WAMP), and the system development framework chooses CodeIgniter with MVC model. It forms a powerful Web application platform with high value.
