In recent year, the increasing demand of the people on the indoor and outdoor positioning, location services as strategic emerging industries, start broad access to people’s lives, especially in our public safety urgent needs of the field of emergency rescue, location information is particularly important. At present, China is not yet to be established WAN indoor high-precision positioning service system, the National 863 theme project " The key technology and service demonstration of City indoor and outdoor high-precision positioning the navigation ",is constructed of urban indoor outside the high-precision positioning service system, indoor and outdoor seamless positioning, the National project enhances our emergency rescue and to further promote the development of the location service industry in China is of great significance.The paper as one of the tasks of the laboratory project, mainly studys the signal multidimensional feature information in a complex environment to obtain technical information acquisition system developed positioning additional features to achieve wide-area indoor and outdoor seamless high-precision positioning assisted positioning feature information database. Mainly involving:key technical characteristic calibration point intelligent planning techniques; characteristics optimization and interpolation techniques; characteristic information adaptive generation technology based on the technology of high-precision measurement and collection of feature information; research and development characteristics of information collection system. The main contents of the following aspects:(1) A fusion of the propagation delay or propagation delay difference (TOA/TDOA) indoor and outdoor wireless features of field strength RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) signal acquisition system, the completion of the feature information of the wireless signal acquisition and storage.(2) Based on the project background, the paper designs and implements the actual data collection and analysis, the actual campus experimental network wireless positioning signal information collection system based on the Windows Mobile platform embedded features, while taking advantage of the software simulation method of acquisition The measured data to construct the feature database built up based on the simulation algorithm based on the characteristic information of the positioning signal of the feature information and the measured point of the positioning signal is compared with the software implemented on the positioning terminal based on the above algorithm, simulation and measured data analysis, validation of the algorithm having a higher accuracy than the single use of TDOA or RSSI, can effectively improve the insufficient used alone the TDOA or RSSI positioning the positioning effect.(3) Feature data are extracted from the base band data information associated with the positioning database, These feature data mainly include the signal’s strength Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA), the wireless signal the ID of the base station, base station’s latitude and longitude coordinates, barometric pressure altimeter aspect of height and air pressure, etc.(4) Make filtering and optimization process for the characteristic data.
