The Design And Implementation Of Shared Blank Board Based On Desktop Conference System Of CSCW

Computer supported cooperative work(CSCW) is the inevitable result between people remote cooperative work and modern computer technology, multimedia technology and development of network technology. CSCW needs to solve the problem which the traditional computer technology does: Human Machine Interface.Moreover, it also can solve the problem of Human to Human Interface.Desktop Conference System, a branch of CSCW, is a combination between multimedia technology and network communication technology. It makes the multimedia computer interaction, distribution network communication technology and the reality of human perception together. It helps the computer become computer group cooperation from the traditional single computer operation.This paper implements a set of system based on desktop conference system of CSCW. It mainly includes audio processing subsystem, shared blank board subsystem,conference management subsystem, network communication subsystem and personnel management subsystem. Each subsystem provides service for the users.This paper introduces the related knowledge of desktop conference system.According to our experience in the blank board design process, my paper focus on the design idea and key technology of the blank board system. It mainly includes network communication system, multi-user collaborative perception and conflicts arising from the parallel operation. This paper presents a solution to the above problems.Finally, I introduce the detailed design of each subsystem in my paper. It includes audio compression decompression, the installation of network protocols and network transmission connection, collaborative perception algorithm of blank board system, the meeting personnel management. Meanwhile, this paper summarizes the shortcomings in the lack of implementation. It helps to provide references for the next step research.
