With economic development, energy issues have been plaguing mankind, on the search for new energy sources has been constantly the path of human exploration. Now China has become increasingly common family car, but the car consumption of oil and other natural resources will inevitably lead to environmental and energy problems more severe. Electric car appears to solve the energy problem, the popularize of electric car will inevitably lead to an increase of grid electricity load, From the long-term strategic point of view, This paper take power line carrier communication as communication between electric vehicles and the charging pile. Power line carrier communication is the use of the existing power line network as a transmission medium for data transmission. In China, strong distribution network power line is very wide, no additional set up communication lines, the use of advanced after power line carrier technology can achieve stable transmission signal.This paper introduces the present situation of the development of power line carrier communication, the charging communication of Power Line Carrier electric car was studied. Analysis of some special inherent characteristic of power line carrier communication channel, It focuses on the relationship between the signal attenuation and range, frequency, load. This paper proposes an OFDM-based power line carrier communication, to solve a harsh environment power line network.Details of the basic principles of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, then OFDM technology are analyzed by mathematical models. After analysis algorithm, using cyclic prefix and guard interval can effectively solve the multipath fading channel problems. This article describes two common algorithms, fast Fourier transform and wavelet transform algorithm, and then compare the two algorithms, OFDM power line carrier communication based on wavelet transform is selected as an electric vehicle charging communication. Due to the OFDM power line carrier communication, the traditional peripheral hardware circuit can not meet the transmission system environment. Conventional charging pile uses CAN bus communication, its interface can not meet the design requirements of the task. In this paper, an adaptive charging control strategy was designed, while improving the charge pile interface circuit., Finally, test the entire system of communication, The results show that the design of the power line carrier communication system based on OFDM electric vehicle charging system that can charge a stable signal transmission.
