Cluster multimedia communication system is a special command scheduling system compares halfback, it has many advanced functions like one key pass-through, automatic selection, the Shared channel. It plays an import role int the filed of logistics management, public security, airport scheduling and so on. With the development of technology TD-LTE, which is an independent research and developed in our country, becoming mature day after day. So with high speed, large capacity, good stability, and many other advantages, on the basis of the multimedia cluster development is a kind of inevitable trend. This paper relies on the national major project "The development on TD- LTE broadband multimedia cluster protocol stack ",my job is the software design and development on RRC layer protocol stack.First of all, this paper macro summarizes the TD-LTE advantage and the development of cluster system, and the cluster system with TD-LTE is already an inevitable trend. At the same time I also focus on the relative literatures at home and abroad on the cluster technology research and development.Secondly, a lot of work has been done in the design and develop based on the RRC layer in this article. In order to learn the principle and the signaling interaction process in RRC layer duiring the design period, I refer to many books, 3 GPP protocol, combing the process of the RRC layer module, do further study of the key module of RRC. In the aspect of software I focus on completing the framework of the finite state machine based on Linux core class as a whole RRC layer software design framework. Through preliminary analysis of the theoretical, I get clrealy understanding of input and output parameters of each module态the data structure and the communication interface.Finally, a large number of black and white box testing has been don to ensure the stability of the software, besides, I also summarize the difficulties and failure in the project.
